Dearest Ikhlas,
you will be making mistakes. Lots of them. You will continue making mistakes for as long as you live because it is how you grow and learn as a person. You will break my heart and your father's. We will probably be very sad and disappointed but you are our child, our amanah, and I will accept you for who you are the way you have accepted me for who I am; a mother full of faults and flaws. Rest assured-- the one mistake I will never have the capability to do, is to stop loving you.
